Majority decision making

Majority decision-making involves making decisions based on the support of the majority of the decision-makers.

For example, formal decisions, such as approving an evaluation design or accepting a final report, might be put to a vote, with a simple majority required or a higher level of agreement. In situations where evaluation team members are also on the steering group, they might be able to vote on these decisions, or they might be non-voting members who can engage in discussions but not vote.
