Financial and accounting aspects of the program budget (ACFBP)

Professional Master's in Economics - Emphasis on Public Policy

Objective(s): train professionals who seek to deepen their knowledge of public policies with a solid microeconomic and quantitative foundation for the design, monitoring and evaluation of public policies. The program is the result of a partnership with the Center for Learning in Evaluation and Results for Lusophone Africa and Brazil (CLEAR) at FGV EESP, which belongs to an international network of academic institutions supported by the Global Evaluation Initiative, with a focus on promoting evidence-based public policies.

Research for Impact Fellowship (RFI)

Objective(s): equip young development researchers with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to design and implement randomised evaluations for assessing the effectiveness of social policies and programmes.

Scope:
Stage 1 - course on the theory behind designing and implementing evaluations (proctored exam at the end of stage 1)
Stage 2 - practical training on implementing an evaluation, course on primary data collection covering a range of topics related to measurement and survey tools
