Objective(s): help MEL and Technology startups identify new growth opportunities, from finding the product market-fit and ideas validation, to strengthening the core-team until expansion strategies to new business potentials, that support the process of evidence generation and building a new evaluation ecosystem that drives technology and is also technology driven.

Objective(s): promote knowledge- and experience-sharing events on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) topics. gLOCAL seeks to bring subnational- and national-level M&E knowledge to global audiences.

Those who just started their first steps in the evaluation field can solidify and deepen their foundations, and more experienced ones find some specialized topics to accommodate their specific interest.

Objective(s): IPDET's one-week Core Course provides the fundamentals of evaluation. As an introductory course, participants gain a comprehensive overview of evaluation and on how to do it. The course is designed for those with no or little prior experience in evaluation, as well as for those seeking to refresh and update their basic knowledge.

- Consolidation stream: solidify and deepen conceptual knowledge and enhance practical skills of evaluation basics as follow-up on the core course.

Objective(s): promote evaluative thinking to enhance development interventions and inform decision-making processes. Furthermore, the Symposium brings together evaluation practitioners from MDBs, peer development institutions, academia, and centers of excellence to strengthen and reshape evaluation work and to forge a roadmap that facilitates progress towards the achievement of the SDGs.
