The program includes national and global perspectives of health policy and evaluation. The MHE encourages collaboration with health sector stakeholders and applied researchers through coursework and the practicum component. The MHE program is flexible for the working professional and is completed online as a part-time or full-time student.

The mission of the Master of Social Work (MSW) for Working Professionals is to promote social justice through quality professional education, advocacy, community partnerships, and the development and dissemination of knowledge through enquiry. Our goal is to provide students the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling educational experience where they will embrace a leadership role in social work education and research becoming the social work leaders of tomorrow.

This Graduate Diploma offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in community-engaged research and evaluation, and to contribute to community and agency learning, effectiveness, and change. In this program students who have undergraduate degrees and experience working in social and community services will craft locally relevant research questions and/ or frame evaluation processes useful for both agency/ community and funder purposes, and build their capacities for conducting participatory, justice-focused research and evaluation.
