The purpose of this three-module diploma is to equip learners with the critical knowledge and skillset needed to design and implement (M&E) systems. The diploma is designed in alignment with international standards for (M&E), namely, the American Evaluation Association (AEA) guiding principles for evaluators and the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) core competencies for evaluators of the UN System. The program will blend planning and project management principles with skill development concerning evaluation study design, developing (M&E) frameworks, data collection and analysis, and IT's changing role. Special focus will be given to professional practice and to balancing the ethical aspects of an evaluation.

The objective of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills in Project Monitoring and Evaluation and to enable them to involve communities in the entire project implementation process.

The primary objective of this program is to equip learners from a variety of sectors with the knowledge and skills to successfully plan, implement and manage monitoring and evaluation systems from initiation to close-out.
The hands-on program presents practical steps, examples, and exercises in applying M&E concepts and tools. Participants will work in groups to apply these concepts in an integrated manner, enabling them to plan, monitor, and evaluate their interventions, be accountable, and improve performance.

It is aimed at professionals and other individuals who are tasked with the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs. This program aims to strengthen capacity in management, monitoring and evaluation. It is a response to government’s demand for personnel who can accurately measure outputs and outcomes of its interventions as a way of enhancing evidence-based decision-making. Scarcity of local personnel with these and other related skills translates into government sourcing these skills internationally, which is often expensive, untimely, and not customized.

This program is tailored for development practitioners seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in the fields of development monitoring, evaluation, planning, and management.

This is a professional course which aims to provide development practitioners with key elements needed for program planning and operationalizing an M&E system. Emphasis will be put on participatory methods that promote stakeholder commitment for sustainability. In addition to lecture format the training will also use participatory methodologies and, as much as possible, be practical and relevant to the needs of industry. The main aim is to increase the capacity of the development sector in Zambia to deliver efficient and effective project outcomes and to be able to measure and evaluate these outcomes. As no one person is a sole depository of knowledge development, practitioners will have opportunity to learn from each other by sharing of knowledge and experiences.

The purpose of the program is to develop evaluation capacities that allow for the strengthening and maximization of government action at the different levels of public administration, thus contributing to the solution of local, regional and national problems. The program is jointly offered by the National University of Lanús and the National Arturo Jauretche University.

This course trains specialists in the theoretical, methodological, and practical knowledge required for evaluations, as well as the ability to critically analyze their practices and guide actions that institutionalize the evaluations for improved management and public policy outcomes.
