Dylomo

Dylomo is a free, web-based tool that can be used to create interactive, online logic models.

Its development involved a user-testing experience at the Canadian Evaluation Society conference in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada in June 2016, and was demonstrated at the Australasian Evaluation Society conference in Perth, Australia, 2016.

Key features of Dylomo

This tool was developed to create logic models that can represent the complex, dynamic nature of programs. 

The tool is web-based, and interactive, allowing users to customise and change connections and highlight individual paths along the logic model, making the specific chains of logic clear.

How have you used or intend on using this resource?

While I haven't used this specifically, I would use it if I needed to quickly visualise my ideas and didn't have time to mess around with downloading software. Although I can't see an easy way to export the logic model apart from taking a screen shot, you can log in to access saved models which could be useful in a presentation - the interactivity of the display means it can be used in a more dynamic way when presenting program logic than a static logic model can.

I found it very simple to get going with, and the process of creating and customising different elements was quite intuitive. There's just enough functionality for its purpose without overcomplicating the process.
