Using Most Significant Change to measure impact

Evaluators often struggle to measure impact in cases where using an experimental design is not feasible.

During this virtual workshop, Odile Drive David Doréus presented an overview of how she has used the Most Significant Change (MSC) technique to measure impact in community health, livelihoods, and youth programming in Africa and the Caribbean.

Drawing on her experiences using MSC for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, she shared lessons learned, explaining key implementation steps. The workshop provided insight into how and when to use MSC for M&E; and gave guidance on the use of the technique to help improve communications with project collaborators.
