As COVID-19 travel restrictions continue, M&E systems must adapt and become more equipped to collect data remotely. In the same way, staff reviewing the quality of that data must adjust how they can assess and improve its quality.
Ashley shared top tips published by Winrock on how to adjust M&E systems during COVID-19 restrictions and discussed her experience conducting an internal data quality assessment for a project in West Africa completely remotely. She provided helpful guidance, including Winrock’s Guidance for Monitoring & Evaluation During COVID-19 and USAID’s Recommended Data Quality Assessment Checklist.
