Impact evaluation and interventions to address climate change: A scoping study

This paper from the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) analyses several climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives and concludes that if funds continue to be spent on these kinds of projects, they should be based on sound evidence of what works.

Section 5 focuses on impact evaluation, and discusses how it has been applied to climate change and related environmental interventions in developing countries to date. Furthermore, there is a discussion of the limits and opportunities in applying rigorous IE to climate change interventions.
