Students in the program develop the skills to conceptualize, design, evaluate and teach a wide variety of research approaches, methodologies, and applications. They gain knowledge, skills, and experience in statistical analyses, program evaluation, and measurement/psychometrics. They are taught how to communicate effectively with educators and other professionals in the development and application of research and psychometric materials. In addition, our doctoral students gain the expertise to teach courses at the college level, provide leadership in the conduct of research studies, and serve as consultants in research methodology and data analysis in education, industry, and government.
